In this Hands-on Workshop, you will learn to elevate your curly hair services and gain the confidence to work with any curl type that walks into your salon!
You’ll learn foundational techniques designed to create on trend, client-ready curly looks on any curl shape. Martina will teach you her Sunflower Curls approach; providing low maintenance techniques that provide high impact & make curls approachable for you & your guests in the salon.
During this workshop you will learn:- Comprehensive Consultations: Learn how to assess curl type, porosity, and density while building trust with clients by understanding their past experiences and unique needs.
- Product Selection & Application: Master the art of choosing the right products and applying them for defined, healthy curls.
- Curly Haircutting Techniques: Gain hands-on experience with essential cutting techniques, including external and internal layering, to create volume, shape, and movement while maintaining curl integrity.
This class offers high-value skills you can take back to the salon immediately, and it’s just the beginning!
Stylists who complete this session will leave with new tools to grow their curly hair clientele (in all curl shapes) and a deeper understanding of why advanced education is crucial in this area.
Students are required to bring: Duckbill clips (or preferred cutting clip), cutting combs, brush, your favorite curly hair products
Included in the workshop: A mannequin head will be provided so you can practice under the instruction of the educator in this workshop. You can also take the mannequin head home with you!
