About me
Carl Littlesā passion for barbering began in high school, where he quickly realized he had a talent for the craft, as his friends would line up in his bedroom waiting their turn for a haircut. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Mr. Littles started his barber career when he attended Molar Barber College in Oakland, California in 2000.
After completing his barber education in Oakland, he returned to his hometown where he obtained his license and began establishing himself as a professional barber, in addition to, managing a busy barbershop in the heart of the city. During this time, Mr. Littles felt the desired to expand on his professional forte with becoming a licensed barber instructor. In 2014, he returned to school at Stylists Barber School in Phoenix, Arizona to complete his education in becoming a licensed instructor.
However, he knew that there was one more step he needed to take before venturing into the world of educating others and that was to open his own barber shop. In August 2015, Mr. Littles opened The Original Barber Shop with 7 stations that were already rented prior to the grand opening. As the business flourished with an outstanding relationship to clients and the community, alike, the Original Barber Shop once again expanded from 7 stations to 13 stations in January 2017.
With his continual utmost vision on teaching and expanding the knowledge in the barber industry, Mr. Littles joined the staff of Nevadaās First Barber College in October 2018, where he gained an exceptional amount of experience in education while personal fulfilling his desire in helping students learn and grow in this trending profession.
With the need to give back to the barber community and become a trusted mentor within his profession, Mr. Littlesā desire and dream of establishing The Original Barber Shop School.
